ILA Chart #4Both charts show the different types of injuries that can occur from running. My new chart shows the injuries that runners sustained after a three-week period of running. I compiled this chart from data from an academic journal. The study was to see if running more than three kilometers during the first week of running would increase injuries in runners who were beginners and obese. The data in the chart shows that injuries are likely to occur if an obese, novice runner tries to run farther than their body is capable of handling in a short period of time.
