ILA #4


This chart shows the number of deaths of a driver under the influence of alcohol from 2005-2014, comparing all the states in the United States. It shows that the most alcohol-related driving fatalities of the driver were found throughout the years in Texas, California, and Florida. This relates to my topic as my topic is about the minimum legal drinking age and whether or not increasing or decreasing the MLDA would decrease the number of fatalities. This chart shows me the rate of fatalities of drinking and driving already with our current legal drinking age and will help me look into whether the states with more deaths have strict underage drinking laws and consequences or not.
