The chart that I made represents the amount of Maryland prisoners in 2013-2014 who ended up back in correctional facilities after 3 short years of being released. This data was created by the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. The information proves how important it is to make sure prisoners receive the necessary treatment either during or after their time spent in facilities. If they do not, there is a higher chance of them going back to their old ways no matter what that may consist of. The data was taken from

  1. wow this is an awesome chart!!! I love the data you included in this. It is super interesting and the chart makes it very easy to read and understand. I am really glad you made a chart with this data because this information really interests me. Good job on chart and information!!

The chart shows a need for treatment as shown by the chart in over a decade there’s barely been a significant change in the number of prisoners who go back, although there is a small decrease within the more recent years so I wonder why that is so. I agree with you that it shows a need for treating in the facilities though.
