My line graph shows the percent employed at the age of 16 and older from the year 2009- 2014. This chart shows that after the economic crash of 2008, Detroit’s employment rate continued to slip. However, in 2014 it has begun to improve again. I chose this data because it shows that people are still struggling to find jobs and get out of poverty, even in 2014. However, a little improvement shows there is light at the end of the tunnel.
