How Was It Collected: Analysis and measurements of value on specific sites
How Old Is It: March 1, 2011
Format: The analysis transferred to data was put into a spreadsheet.
What Type Is It: Scientific(kW measurements) and Economical(costs ratio) data.
How Would You Need to Transform the Data For It To Be Useable: Instead of showing data collected for each site, I would show the data sets collected for each state. By doing this the amount of data would be reduced to a more organized set up.
The readings focused on how to analyze the data and sources correctly, and also how to correctly decide whether or not the data/source is going to be useful to you. The information from the University of Saskatchewan mainly focuses on how to evaluate sources to see if they’re useful.
Both of these readings helped me choose my source because I knew what I was looking for to determine the quality of the data shown. The two readings also helped me understand the data more as well.
