I chose this kind of chart because I think a bar graph is the easiest to read and understand. When I was creating this chart I decided to keep it to only two segments of data so the chart was not too overwhelming. The data I’m comparing is basically how many teens ages 13-17 own a phone. The data I used shows how many teens have a smartphone versus how many teens own a phone, but not a smartphone. I would interpret this data as definitely more teens own smartphones rather than non smartphones. I think the argument you can make is that in this day in age more and more teens have smartphones rather than regular non smartphones. If an inquiry was asked about this data it might be something like how does this data compare to the data, say 5 years ago. How different will the numbers of teens who own smartphones be?
