As you can see here, the percent of genetically modified soybeans in the United States has risen from 2000 to 2016 to almost 100%. The percent of genetically engineered soybeans has increased from 54% in 2000 to 94% in 2016, a 40% increase. There was the occasional decrease, such as from 2008-2009 and from 2011-2012, but each time was by 1% or less.
