Total World Population Growth
This chart is mapping data regarding population. The concept of growing GMO crops is a motion that I strongly support. As you can see by this graph, we are going to have many more people to feed over the next 100 years. Feeding 11 billion people by 2100 will require some serious thinking. GMO crops offer larger yields, less pesticides and less fertilizer than conventional crops which will help feed many more people. Conventional farming methods will simply not suffice and new farming technologies will have to be implemented. This data chart outlines one of the biggest reasons that GMO crops should be embraced.
