The USDA ( United States Department of Agriculture) is a government agency that regulates U.S agriculture laws. Overall the USDA is there to prevent problems within the food system in the U.S. I believe it is a good resource to us because of the fact that is one of the government agencies designed to regulate the food system. They provide useful info to the public which I find to be helpful.
The FDA ( U.S Food and Drug Administration) is a government agency that regulates the chemicals that are in the food as well as other products. I find it a reliable source to use due to the fact that it is a government program. They have many useful links on their site that tell what can and cannot go into the food and other food related products. I also believe that it can be helpful in finding what is in the food we eat on a daily biases.
The CDC ( Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) is another government agency that deals with the food system. I believe it is a good source to use due to the fact that they provide the public about food related diseases. They tell what kind of diseases can be related to food or be found in foods that are not treated properly.
